RESTOR lens Restor Lens Los Angeles Beverly Hills California ~ Alcon Acrysof Restor Lens The RESTOR lens is new technology that is now available from Dr Seibel's practice in Los Angeles. The ReSTOR lens can help to retrieve the age-related loss of reading vision and is helping cataract and other patients throughout Los Angeles. Age-related cataracts begin to blur vision as the natural lens inside the eye clouds and becomes yellow. Cataracts typically make it difficult for patients to drive, read the newpaper, and see details clearly. They often cause glare at night time. The RESTOR lens implant can correct distance vision and dramatically improve reading vision.

Alcon AcrySof ReSTOR Lens!

Seibel Vision Surgery is excited to be among the first to receive the new Alcon AcrySof ReSTOR lens, a new surgically implanted lens that allows patients the potential to reduce or eliminate their dependence on glasses or contact lenses.

The Alcon AcrySof ReSTOR lens has been uniquely designed to give cataract patients their best chance ever to live free of glasses.

Reducing the need for reading glasses after cataract removal, without compromising distance vision, has been a goal of ophthalmology for many years. Until now, the vast majority of patients who undergo cataract surgery received a monofocal (with a single focus point usually set for distance vision) IOL (intraocular lens implant), which typically requires them to carry around reading glasses so they can read a newspaper, menu or medicine bottle, or do other things that require close vision.
