Why should I use an ambulatory surgery center?
Advances in medicine and technology have made many surgical
procedures less invasive, briefer and less traumatic to the patient. These advances
have made it possible for you to have your surgical procedure on an outpatient
basis, without having to spend the night in the hospital.
Do you have foreign language staff?
We have staff that speaks multiple languages. If they are not available, arrangements will be made to provide an interpreter on site, including sign language.
Are there accommodations for persons accompanying me?
Since an adult must be available to drive you home, they have the option to remain??
with you in the pre-op area until you are taken to the operating room. Then they
can either relax in our comfortable waiting area, where we have refreshments
and reading materials available or they may leave the facility by leaving a number
where we can reach them to inform them of your progress and discharge time.
What do I do if I have any questions after the surgery?
You should call us here at Seibel Vision Surgery. You will also receive a call the next day from one of our nurses to check on you. If you do not wish a message left, please inform us the day of your surgery.

If you will not be available to take these calls, you may call the facility and make arrangements where you may be reached.
